It was pure joy to spend time with some of my favorite people from my former lives. This picture recreates one that was taken during my freshman year at Taylor University when Amy and Sheldon and Drew came to visit. We are still great friends and the weekend was full of conversation and arguing. It felt just like old times except we are older and sometimes better people now. It was also good to reconnect with my multi-talented friends Nat and Rod and Jason and Carmen. I came away from the weekend physically tired but emotionally refreshed to face a crazy first week of school.
