Craigslist While you could get yourself into a lot of trouble on Craigslist, you can also score some sweet furniture deals. Yesterday we bought this fab midcentury modern rocking chair and ottoman from a guy just a couple of blocks away. We could buy the same thing off ebay but we'd probably pay more, have to pay for shipping, and buy it sight unseen. The orange cushions are pretty worn and hideous but I'm planning on my soon-to-be-expert (hah) upholstery skills to help me turn it into the knock-out piece it deserves to be.
