Weird Weather
So I guess this is what is called the "Pineapple Express"--weather straight from Hawaii. It was warm and very muggy today and the rain keeps coming down in tropical sheets. Oh, and last night we had an earthquake. I felt it from the upstairs office. At first I thought Nate was rearranging furniture downstairs but then it kept tremoring and I realized what was going on. No damage that we're aware of. I guess this is the kind of weather I expected when I moved to Portland. I've been pleasantly surprised that this is NOT the norm.

Nothing tropical about the desert.(not to be confused with dessert). :-)
